As the United States prepares to celebrate its 250th anniversary, AG General Superintendent Doug Clay has announced that the Assemblies of God Week of Prayer, observed annually during the first week of January, will focus on praying for America.
The Week of Prayer theme verse is found in Jeremiah 29:7:
“Seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”
